Snow, Frost, Ice. How Many Bishkek Residents Were Injured, According to Doctors

In Bishkek, nine residents sought help at the Clinical Emergency Hospital with injuries caused by icy conditions. Deputy Chief Physician Ilim Manapov reported this on the air of "Birinchi Radio."

Of all the injured, seven received outpatient treatment, while two were hospitalized. Some of them were injured while skiing, and two people fell on slippery streets.

Ilim Manapov noted that this year the amount of precipitation is lower than usual, and consequently, the number of injured has also decreased compared to previous years.

Most of the visits to doctors are related to injuries sustained during active recreation. The hospital added that in previous winter seasons, the number of injured could reach 500-600 people, whereas this year it is significantly lower.
