In Bishkek, a police officer and an accomplice were detained for extortion
In Bishkek, citizen T.A. and police officer A.E.B. from the Department of Internal Affairs of the October District were arrested. They were caught red-handed while receiving 350,000 soms from citizen Ch.M., according to a statement from the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

According to the information, the extortion was carried out under the pretext of accusing Ch.M. of a crime allegedly related to the rape of T.A. As a result, T.A. and police officer A.E.B. conspired to demand a monetary sum for a favorable resolution of the case.

By the decision of the Lenin District Court of Bishkek, T.A. and A.E.B. were placed in the GKNB detention center.
