Law enforcement began raids on pawnshops in Osh and the Osh region

In accordance with the instructions of Kamchybek Tashiev, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), together with the Southern Territorial Administration of the Financial Supervision Service and the State Tax Service, has begun inspections of pawnshops located in Osh and the Osh region. This was reported in a press release from the agency.

As a result of the inspections, cases of exceeding the interest rates permitted by law were identified. Consequently, administrative measures were taken against the violators, and over 30 pawnshops were sealed, after which appropriate inspections were appointed, the results of which will provide a legal assessment," the press release notes.
