According to available information, on January 15, a statement was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District from a representative of one of the businesses. The document states that on January 9, the suspect, having gained the trust of the company's employees, under the pretext of delivering cars along the route Khorgos — Moscow — Belgorod, stole 4000 US dollars.
Investigative authorities found that the man intentionally deviated from the planned route, crossed the border of Kyrgyzstan through the Dunlarova checkpoint, and used four vehicles at his discretion. He spent the obtained funds for his own needs.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated in this case under Article 209 "Fraud on a large scale" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
During operational activities, a man born in 1988 was detained. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the capital's police department, and by a decision of the Sverdlovsk District Court, he has been taken into custody in pre-trial detention center No. 1 during the investigation.
It is also reported that four vehicles, which the suspect did not manage to sell, were found and seized; they are currently located in a specialized impound lot. It has been established that he may be involved in other similar crimes.
