The relevant information was provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
The woman, born in 1958, filed a complaint on January 3, 2026, stating that her son, under the influence of alcohol, repeatedly used physical and psychological force against her. Medical experts confirmed the presence of minor bodily harm that caused temporary disturbances. Based on these facts, a criminal case was opened under Article 138 (Torture) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The woman's son, born in 1978, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
