In Karakol, law enforcement agencies have uncovered a case of illegal storage of firearms and ammunition. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the agency, a cache of weapons was discovered in the settlement of Pristan-Przhevalsk. During the inspection, specialists seized the following items: a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun, a combat Makarov pistol with eight rounds, a homemade revolver loaded with two rounds, a traumatic pistol with three rounds, as well as ammunition (five rounds for 12-gauge smoothbore firearms and 26 rounds for the PM pistol) and uniforms of law enforcement officers.
According to operational data, this cache belonged to members of the liquidated organized crime group led by Kamchy Asanbek, who previously used firearms in their criminal activities.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and relevant examinations have been appointed.
