In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, officers of the Patrol Police detained a suspect in a rape case who was driving a truck. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Patrol Police.
According to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on March 10 at around 20:35, when the police received a report that a truck driver had committed a crime against a girl, A.B.K., born in 2006, and left her on the road between the Vasilievsky tract and the bypass road.
Arriving at the scene, police officers confirmed the fact of the rape. The truck driver, realizing the situation, attempted to flee the scene.
Police officers began to pursue him. The driver, ignoring demands to stop, increased his speed and continued driving. The chase took place on Almatinskaya Street, where he repeatedly ran red lights and drove into oncoming traffic, demonstrating gross violations of traffic rules.
The intersection of Musa Jalil Street and Kurmanjan Datka Street became the final point of the chase, where the truck was stopped and its driver was detained. He turned out to be T.D.M., also born in 2006. During the check, it was revealed that he was in a state of intoxication, which was confirmed by the results of a medical examination.
After the detention, the suspect was taken to the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District, from where he was handed over to the investigative service for further investigation into the rape case. The FAW truck was placed in a towing lot.
