On January 20, snowfall is predicted in several regions of Kyrgyzstan.
According to meteorologists, snow is expected in the Chui, Issyk-Kul, Naryn, and Jalal-Abad regions. The other regions of the republic will remain precipitation-free.
Ice formation is forecasted on the roads, and fog is also possible. The western wind will blow at a speed of 4–9 m/s.
The expected air temperature in different parts of the country is as follows:
- in the Chui region — from −1 to −6 degrees;
- in the Suusamyr Valley — −10…−15 degrees;
- in the Talas region — −1…−6 degrees;
- in the Batken region — −3…+2 degrees;
- in the Osh and Jalal-Abad regions — −1…+4 degrees;
- in the Issyk-Kul region — −2…+3 degrees;
- in the Naryn region — −5…−10 degrees.
