He noted that the president had previously instructed to carry out renovation work with the aim of transforming the building into a modern sports center.
"The sports palace will be reconstructed by the mayor's office while preserving its historical appearance, and it will also become a multifunctional complex, similar to the 'Zhashtyk Arena.' The swimming pool will be preserved," the mayor added.
In addition, a working group has been formed to address the reconstruction issues, which is currently conducting an assessment of the complex.
