In Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev held an on-site meeting to assess the condition of key infrastructure facilities in the capital. As part of this visit, he inspected Zhibek Zholu Avenue, where the construction of a bridge over the Alamedin River is taking place, as reported by the press service of the city hall.
During the inspection, it was found that the fencing at the construction site did not meet established quality standards. As a result, the mayor ordered the immediate termination of the contract with the contractor.
Additionally, Aibek Junushaliev instructed to check the legality of the placement of structures along the riverbed in the construction zone and, if necessary, take measures in accordance with the law.

The bridge under construction will have six lanes, significantly increasing the road capacity in this area. The project also includes zones for taxi parking, which is expected to improve the convenience and safety of traffic, according to local authorities.
Quality control of the work and the progress of construction will continue by city services.
