In Bishkek, waste collectors will be offered jobs at waste sorting plants

The Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, shared plans for the construction of one or two new waste sorting plants in a podcast by the "Kabar" agency.

In Bishkek, waste collectors will be offered jobs at waste sorting plants

As the mayor noted, the city authorities aim to provide official jobs to those citizens who previously earned a living by collecting waste at the landfill.

“We invite our citizens who survived by collecting garbage at the old landfill. Instead of working on the 'mountain of trash,' we offer them vacancies at the plant, where all necessary conditions will be provided,” emphasized Junushaliev.
