He noted that the philharmonic is often used for various domestic and international events, which highlights the need for its renovation.
“It should not just be a new building, but an institution that reflects culture, history, and traditions, becoming a part of Kyrgyz heritage,” he added.
The existing Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov is located at the corner of Chuy and Manas Avenues. Its construction was completed in 1980, and the facade of the building faces the Bishkek City Hall, where the statue of Manas and fountains are located.
