At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva presented information about the possible demolition of houses on Sheraliyev Street in Bishkek.

According to her, more than 100 homeowners in the Lenin District have approached her with a collective request.

She noted that according to the new master plan, it is proposed to extend Sheraliyev Street from Akhunbaev to Gagarin, with further connection to Termechikova, which could lead to the destruction of a significant number of houses. "Residents have already approached the mayor's office with proposals, but unfortunately, they have not received a response," Sadyrbaeva emphasized.

The deputy urged municipal authorities to provide data on the planned demolitions.

“How many houses will be demolished? What will be the financial costs of this procedure? Residents hope that Repin Street can be widened while leaving Sheraliyev as it is to preserve their homes,” she added.
