Deputy Aida Salyamova emphasized the importance of working with migrant children and their psychological well-being.
During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Aida Salyamova raised the issue of child safety and the protection of minors' rights. She noted that in 2025, there were 18 suicides among youth in the Jalal-Abad region, which is two cases more than the previous year.
The deputy also highlighted a tragic incident that occurred on January 10, 2026, when an 8th-grade student from the Bazar-Korgon district committed suicide. This child is a descendant of migrants, and his parents are currently outside the country.
Salyamova stressed the importance of increased oversight by government agencies working with minors, as well as the need for a thorough analysis of the situation of migrant children to identify potential psychological and social risks, in order to provide timely assistance to those in need.
