At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Nilufar Alimjanova proposed the initiative to create a specialized fund under the Ministry of Health. This fund will be intended to finance the treatment of children and citizens with special needs suffering from serious illnesses, including cancer, and requiring surgical intervention.
Alimjanova noted that currently many families are forced to raise funds independently through social networks; however, the government should take an active role in providing targeted assistance to those in need.
