Deputy Gula Kozhokulova expressed serious concern about the situation with the illegal drug trade among minors at a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh. According to her, the problem requires urgent resolution.
She noted that while law enforcement agencies are actively working in this area, the prosecutor's office should also get involved in the fight against drug trafficking. "Synthetic drugs are ensnaring children up to 16 years old, and this is an extremely alarming trend. Urgent measures are needed at the government level to unite the efforts of all special services. Work must be conducted with the participation of all ministries and departments, including the ministries of education and health," Kozhokulova emphasized.
The deputy compared this problem to a cancerous tumor that spreads and requires active measures. "There are deliberate actions aimed at making the younger generation dependent on synthetic drugs," she added.
