Deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev presented the requests of local residents of the village of Kazarman at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh regarding high prices for airline tickets on the Bishkek-Kazarman route.
He reported that an airline ticket on the Bishkek-Naryn route costs 2100 soms.
“Local residents are asking to reduce the price from 3100 soms to 2100 soms. I request that the Ministry of Transport be instructed to conduct the necessary calculations regarding the distance,” the deputy emphasized.
In addition, Sydygaliev expressed concern about the risk of avalanches on sections 260 km, 261 km, 257 km, and 284 km of the alternative North-South road, which runs between Jumgal and Kazarman.
“This problem needs to be resolved before the road is opened; it may require the construction of galleries,” he added.
The deputy also noted the importance of installing a traffic light and video cameras at the turn of the road in the Boom Gorge, towards the Naryn region, where traffic jams often occur.
