This information was announced by Damir Kalykberdiev, the head of the department.
He noted that more than 30 facilities will be completely renovated, and 44 buildings have already been put into operation. Plans for 2026 include the completion of another 36 projects.
In 2025, budget documentation was prepared for over 60 projects, and all work was carried out in accordance with the approved plan of the Ministry of Construction.
Fully completed facilities put into operation in 2025:
- 12 schools;
- 12 kindergartens;
- 3 clean water facilities;
- 12 capital repair projects.
These social facilities are equipped with modern amenities and are aimed at meeting the needs of the population.
A total of 70 construction projects initiated in 2025 remain unfinished and will continue in 2026. Currently, work is ongoing in seven districts of the Osh Region. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, outdoor work has been suspended; however, indoor work continues.
Construction projects by districts:
- Alai District – 4 schools, 3 sports halls, 2 kindergartens, 1 hospital;
- Aravan District – 7 schools;
- Kara-Kulja District – 5 schools, 3 sports halls, 1 health post, 1 kindergarten;
- Kara-Suu District – 3 schools, 4 kindergartens, 2 sports halls, 1 music school;
- Nookat District – 4 schools, 3 kindergartens, 2 hospitals, 2 sports facilities;
- Uzgen District – 10 schools, 5 kindergartens, 1 health post, and other facilities;
- Chon-Alai District – 1 sports hall and 1 hospital;
Plans for 2026:
For 2026, the completion of 36 construction projects is planned, including:
- 13 schools;
- 8 kindergartens;
- 10 sports halls;
- 2 hospitals;
- 1 health post;
- 1 music educational institution.
In addition, major repairs are planned for 12 facilities. Considering proposals from the districts, the number of construction projects may increase.
“All emergency facilities and those requiring major repairs have already been accounted for, and design work is proceeding in full. In this direction, we are actively cooperating with the architectural and construction control department,” emphasized D. Kalykberdiev.
