A deputy initiates a check on the impact on ecology and public health
During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Gulai Mashrapova drew attention to the operation of an asphalt concrete plant in the Kara-Suu District.
She reported that in the Manas rural area, just 300 meters from the village of Besh-Moynok, an asphalt factory was built by the company "Vega Stroy" in 2025. Since the start of its operations, local residents have begun to complain about smoke directed towards their homes, causing them discomfort.
The deputy noted that on December 20, the plant temporarily ceased operations due to adverse weather conditions; however, it is expected that production will resume with the improvement of the weather.
In light of this situation, Gulai Mashrapova appealed to Almasbek Abytov, the representative of the president and the Cabinet of Ministers in parliament, with a proposal to create a special commission to investigate the plant's operations, assess its impact on the environment and the health of residents, and also requested that this issue be taken under personal control.
