Citizens with disabilities are forced to travel to the capital to obtain prosthetics
Residents of the regions face problems accessing prosthetic and orthopedic products, as the branches of the Republican Prosthetics Enterprise are located only in Bishkek and Osh.
During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Venera Salyamova emphasized that many people are compelled to travel to the capital for repairs or replacements of prosthetics, leading to financial and organizational difficulties.
As a solution, she proposed opening a new branch in the city of Manas to improve access for residents of the Jalal-Abad region to the necessary services and create more comfortable conditions for servicing.
