“We have organized the works into five different themes to analyze how artists from Kyrgyzstan have interpreted the genre of landscape in various historical periods and contexts. Contemporary artists are also participating in this discussion, adding their perspectives to the painting and graphics from the museum's collections,” the statement notes.
In addition to painting and graphics, the exhibition will feature photographic works and video projects that highlight the consequences of urbanization and industrialization, particularly the damage caused to the environment.
