The Ministry of Labor explained how the rights of remote workers are protected

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Ulukbek Karybek uulu asked the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov about the protection of the rights of employees working remotely.

In response, Dosmatov stated that amendments had been made to the labor code regarding the term "remote work." Based on this, labor contracts between employers and employees will be formed.

The Deputy Minister noted that the previous version of the code was adopted in 2004, and since then new professions have emerged, making the concept of "remote work" relevant.

Additionally, the deputy clarified who is responsible for protecting workers' rights in case their interests are violated by the employer. Dosmatov explained that within the ministry, there is a Service for the Protection of Workers' Rights that will address such issues.
