At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Toktobu Ashymbaeva asked the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov how the ministry monitors compliance with professional standards in private enterprises.
The Deputy Minister reported that there is a sector in the ministry responsible for professional standards, which interacts with various agencies, and each of them contributes its proposals for the creation of professional standards.
Ashymbaeva also inquired whether the ministry has the authority to conduct inspections of private enterprises.
In response, Dosmatov stated that they do not have such authority. Currently, methodologies are being developed together with relevant educational institutions, and 76 professional standards have been established.
Additionally, the deputy asked how often inspections of private enterprises are conducted.
The Deputy Minister explained that inspections are carried out only upon requests.
