Surabaldiyeva: Maternity benefits are not fully paid in government institutions. A check is needed.

On January 22, during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva raised the issue of problems with maternity benefit payments in state institutions. She noted that women from the regions face difficulties in receiving these payments in full.

Surabaldiyeva reported that female voters have approached her with complaints about the lack of full maternity benefits. "Women on maternity leave report incomplete payments concerning employees of state institutions," the deputy clarified and asked Deputy Minister of Labor Kamchybek Dosmatov to organize inspections and give instructions to regional administrations. "I will provide all written appeals from women," she added.
