Where the Most Housing Was Built in Kyrgyzstan in 2025: Regional Figures

In 2025, 15,106 housing units, including houses and apartments, were put into operation in Kyrgyzstan, with a total area of 1,819.9 thousand square meters. This figure is 15.7% higher than in 2024, which constitutes 115.7% of the previous level. This data was provided by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the information from the agency, 166,175.3 million soms were invested in the construction of residential facilities and social institutions in fixed capital. The majority of the new housing was built in the private sector — 14,944 units with a total area of 1,814.4 thousand square meters, which corresponds to a growth of 17.2% compared to 2024. Within the framework of individual construction, 9,688 housing units were erected with a total area of 1,323.2 thousand square meters, which equals 111.8% of the level in 2024.

By regions, the largest number of housing units put into operation was registered in Bishkek, where 1,849 units were built with a total area of 338.6 thousand square meters, which is 117.6% of the level in 2024. Here are the data for other regions:

Jalal-Abad region: 2,277 units on 253.5 thousand square meters (90.1% of the level in 2024);

Osh region: 1,674 units on 206.4 thousand square meters (120.5%);

Chui region: 1,621 units on 215.8 thousand square meters (146.8%);

Talas region: 610 units on 80.8 thousand square meters (96.5%);

Issyk-Kul region: 609 units on 86.3 thousand square meters (106.8%);

Batken region: 542 units on 71.2 thousand square meters (104.4%);

Naryn region: 301 units on 36.2 thousand square meters (126.6%);

Osh city: 205 units on 34.4 thousand square meters (98.3%).

In addition to housing, social infrastructure facilities were also built in the republic in 2025. In particular, 53 general education schools were put into operation, which will accommodate 15,192 students, with investments amounting to 11,788.6 million soms. Additionally, 43 preschool institutions with 4,025 places were opened, requiring 4,136.9 million soms.

In the healthcare sector, 10 hospitals with 463 beds were built with investments of 1,893.1 million soms, as well as 32 outpatient clinics designed for 634 visits per shift, for which 520.8 million soms were allocated.
