
As of December 1, 2025, the permanent population of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 7 million 395 thousand people, according to statistical data presented by the National Statistics Committee.
From January to November 2025, the population of the country increased by 112.8 thousand people, which corresponds to a growth of 1.5%. The main factor for this increase is natural growth.
Information from the state institution "Kyzmat" indicates that from January to November 2025, 127.8 thousand newborns were registered in the civil registry offices, which is 19.0 per 1,000 people (for the same period in 2024, this figure was 19.9). During the same period, 29.3 thousand deaths were registered, or 4.4 per 1,000 population (in 2024 — 4.5).
Thus, the natural population growth amounted to 98.5 thousand people, which corresponds to 19.0 per 1,000 population (in 2024 — 19.9).
The highest level of natural population growth from January to November 2025 was observed in the Batken, Osh, and Jalal-Abad regions, while in Bishkek this indicator was the lowest.
