The deputy called for support for the reform of future drivers' training

At a recent meeting of the parliament, Deputy Ulukbek Uzakbaev of the Jogorku Kenesh emphasized the need to reform the driver training system, noting that every reform should have a clear justification.

He stressed that for a long time, the state has not taken significant steps regarding the issuance of driver's licenses.

“The situation was such that driver's licenses could be bought even in the underground passages of the capital of Russia. Private companies were involved in their forgery. However, now the state is gradually improving this system. We have started issuing driver's licenses ourselves. Look at the statistics: in 2025, there were 900 deaths on the roads, among which 99 were minors. This is a tragedy that we must think about,” he stated.

According to the deputy, the current problem is being addressed comprehensively, but any reforms require significant efforts.

“A trial period has now been established until August. We must convey the information correctly to the population. It is necessary to stop various interpretations and support the actions of the state. This problem must be under the control of the authorities,” Uzakbaev added.
