During the meeting of the ministry, the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration, Kamchybek Dosmatov, shared the successful results of the implementation of state programs in 2025.
According to the ministry's information, the labor market demonstrated stability, with the official unemployment rate at 1.4%, which is a significant improvement compared to previous years (2021 – 2.9%, 2022 – 2.8%, 2023 – 2.9%, 2024 – 1.8%). There are 56.5 thousand unemployed registered in employment services, which is 20% less than the same date in 2024 (70.6 thousand). Among them, 38.1 thousand people have official unemployed status, which is 22% lower than in 2024.
The number of employed citizens reached 17.5 thousand, and 19.8 thousand people participated in active programs.
Special attention was given to the "Internship for Youth" project, aimed at developing professional skills and employment for young people. Under this project, which was implemented in 2024-2025, participants in internships in 30 pilot regions and cities received a monthly salary, allowing 3 thousand young people to be covered.
In 2025, 1851 people completed the internship, of which 1332 were able to find jobs. "Currently, they are working in public and private institutions in various specialties: from cashiers and specialists to nurses and engineers," the ministry's message notes.
