City hall reported that in 2025, targeted assistance was provided to 60,472 individuals for a total amount of 184 million 565.2 thousand soms. For comparison, in 2024, assistance was received by 58,805 people, with a total amount of 174 million 467.4 thousand soms.
The city council notes that within the framework of the program, 130 social contracts were concluded with needy families, costing 19.5 million soms. Digital "Social Passports" have also been implemented, a project to support mothers with children has been launched in collaboration with the "SOS Children's Villages Bishkek" foundation, and the "Single Window" principle has been introduced to simplify access to social assistance.
In the field of education, Bishkek saw the transformation of 25 existing and 7 new kindergartens in 2025, allowing an additional 4,500 children to be covered. Seven preschool institutions were transferred to municipal ownership, five of which were handed over to district education departments, where major repairs were carried out.
Additionally, interactive panels were installed in 25 schools as part of the implementation of digital technologies in the educational process. The provision of textbooks is 76% in Kyrgyz and 67% in Russian.
According to the results of the national testing, 54 graduates received gold certificates, among which 38 are from Bishkek, accounting for 70% of the total.
All educational institutions in the city have implemented security measures: "panic buttons" and video surveillance cameras with facial recognition have been installed, connected to the situational center of the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs.
As part of the "Young Teacher's Deposit" program, 6.5 million soms were allocated, with 49 educators participating.
In the field of culture, 5,444 cultural and mass events were held in 2025, with more than 902,000 city residents participating. Among the significant events were the "Young Talents" competition, the International Children's Festival "Nariste," the Third Open Bishkek Delphic Games, and the opening of the "Alga" sports complex and stadium.
Regarding physical culture and sports, 609 sporting events were held in 2025, which is 92 more than the previous year. Of these, 197 events were championships and international tournaments, while in 2024 there were only 107.
