The city administration has presented the project sketches for a cultural center that will be located on the site of the old 'Chatyr-Kul' cinema.
According to the authorities, the project for the new modern cultural center has already been developed.
Currently, working groups from the city administration are engaged in installing fences and dismantling the old building.
After the fire on November 5, 2025, the mayor of Bishkek visited the scene and instructed the relevant services to analyze the future of the site and expedite the implementation of the new project.
In accordance with this instruction, a sketch of the new cultural center has been developed to date, and design work is ongoing.
