At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Dastan Bekeshev addressed Bektur Zulpiyev, representing the president and the cabinet of ministers, with a proposal to pay closer attention to the housing problem for orphans. According to Bekeshev, graduates of orphanages face numerous challenges, ranging from education and employment to housing issues.
He noted that while certain steps are being taken, such as opening deposit accounts, this is insufficient for obtaining state mortgages. The deputy emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach to solving this problem and suggested discussing it in the relevant committee. "What should those without a stable income do? Where should they live? The state must show support; perhaps we should consider the possibility of building dormitories or service housing," Bekeshev added.
