In the Jalal-Abad region, 1,020 hazardous areas have been identified, according to information from the president's representative office.

Of these, 491 areas are at risk of landslides, 471 are susceptible to mudflows, floods, and coastal erosion, while 21 areas are prone to rockfalls.

There have also been 37 cases of ground subsidence and rising groundwater levels registered.

As of the beginning of 2025, 1,040 families live in these areas. In 2025, 31 households were completely relocated, and 35 were temporarily relocated.

At the same time, 270 households still have not received assistance from the government or land plots. While 770 households have received assistance and land plots, they have not relocated to new places, as reported by the agency.
