The area around the Ayu Grand shopping center is set to undergo improvements and the establishment of a municipal parking lot. This information was announced at the Bishkek city hall.
By the order of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, on February 24, the director of the Municipal Enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," Bakai Asylbek uulu, visited the parking area on Isakeyeva Street to address the situation on-site.
During the inspection, protocols were drawn up against the owners of vehicles parked in prohibited areas, as well as in spots designated for doctors, students, and patients. Vehicles that had been violating parking rules for an extended period were towed to the impound lot.
It should be noted that this area was previously used as guest parking. Now, it will operate as a municipal parking lot.
The new parking facility will accommodate 100 vehicles and will operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00 on a paid basis. Employees of the Municipal Enterprise "GDTI" will be on duty at the site and will conduct explanatory work.
It is also important that parking for vehicles without state registration plates will be prohibited. In case of violations, necessary measures will be taken.
