According to information provided by the city administration, the municipal inspection held citizen M.F.K. administratively liable under part 114 (Violation of landscaping rules) of the Code of Offenses. The fine amounted to 3000 soms.
It was revealed that the violator illegally installed a pipe for wastewater discharge. Due to the location of his house on a narrow and remote street of the city, the connection went unnoticed for a long time. The pollution was discovered by an ecologist who arrived at the scene of the incident upon request. After the fine was imposed, the employees of "Vodokanal" dismantled and blocked this illegal pipe.
An investigation is currently underway to determine when and how the illegal connection occurred.
