The Tokmok administration explained why the decision was made to cut down trees along several streets. Recently, local residents expressed their dissatisfaction, noting in a statement that trees are disappearing without any visible reason.

According to information from the city hall, the municipal enterprise "KKP" is engaged in the renovation of the park on Boronchieva Street, where it is planned to remove poplars that have reached an age of over 35 years. These trees are weakened and pose a risk of falling, which could threaten the safety of citizens and vehicles.

As part of the landscaping project, a new recreation area will be created where the trees were cut down, which includes:

- planting new decorative and resilient trees;

- installing benches for rest;

- installing modern street lighting;

- carrying out cleaning and landscaping work in the park.
