In 2025, the government of Kyrgyzstan implemented a number of initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens, reforming the labor market, and strengthening social security. At a national meeting in "Yntymak Ordo," Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov announced important changes regarding labor legislation. In particular, an updated labor code was adopted, which introduced new forms of employment, such as remote and mixed work. Quotas were also established for people with disabilities and graduates of orphanages.
According to the deputy chairman, the average monthly salary in the country in 2025 was 44,419 soms, which corresponds to an increase of 18.9%. As part of the "social contract" project, the amount of payments was increased from 100,000 to 150,000 soms.
Furthermore, all children without parents receive a payment of 500,000 soms upon reaching the age of 18. Currently, special accounts have been opened for 3,378 children, to which 684 million soms have already been transferred. Additionally, to improve the work of social services in the regions, 103 new domestically produced vehicles were purchased.
