As reported by Zhayloobek Zhakshylykov, head of the Batken branch of the State Insurance Organization, this year 489,872 soms were paid to four citizens affected by damage to their homes. For comparison, in the entire year of 2025, compensation was received by 13 people for a total amount of 1,636,000 soms.
Every year, there is an increase in the number of people who decide to insure their homes. Thus, in 2026, this indicator increased by 1.4% compared to the same period last year.
Insurance company employees, together with local authorities, are conducting explanatory activities in three districts and three cities of the region.
Urmatzbek Osmonkozho uulu, director of the branch in Jalal-Abad region, confirmed that the number of insured properties continues to grow. Since the beginning of the year, 17 citizens have received compensation totaling 4,577,000 soms.
To date, 8,238 residential houses are insured in the region. In 2025, 115 people received payments (amounting to 6,518,000 soms), and a total of 80,394 properties were insured in the region.
By the end of the year, the insurance coverage in the region reached 40%.
In the Naryn region, since the beginning of the current year, 2,443 residential houses have been insured. One insurance case has already paid out 308,974 soms.
Nursultan Mamytov, deputy director of the Naryn branch, noted that in 2025, 16,278 houses were insured in the region, with payments made for 48 cases totaling 1,158,000 soms.
600 soms for rural areas;
1,200 soms for cities.
