On March 3, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan between Deputy Minister Bakai Turdugulov and Giacomo Gianetto, a representative of the Asian Development Bank.
During the discussion, important organizational and technical aspects concerning the implementation of a project aimed at sustainable housing construction were raised.
One of the key topics was the establishment of a Project Implementation Unit (PIU), which includes the formation of an institutional structure, defining functions, and mechanisms for coordinating actions.
Issues related to the implementation of "green" housing standards were also discussed, emphasizing energy efficiency, the use of environmentally friendly building materials, and the development of a monitoring system to ensure compliance with these standards.
The parties also reviewed the parameters of a program aimed at improving energy efficiency, which involves the introduction of modern energy-saving technologies in housing construction.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives confirmed their intention to continue close cooperation and joint work on developing a sustainable model of "green" housing construction in the country.
