Abdymanapov reminded Akaev of his initial theses on business protection and pointed out the dismal experience of managing municipal property (UMP). "When you first took office, you said that the president had sent you to support entrepreneurs. However, look at the statistics: 90% of the people who previously headed the UMP of the city of Osh ended up in custody. There are rumors that public-private partnership (PPP) projects and other initiatives were implemented behind closed doors — assets were not going to constructive businessmen, but to close associates," Abdymanapov said.
The deputy also reported the need to replace windows in the "40th Anniversary of Kyrgyzstan" school located in the Geologists microdistrict. The kindergarten in the "Teshik-Tash" market area needs repairs.
The deputy proposed conducting professional development courses for teachers not only within the city limits but also in tourist areas to combine learning and leisure.
Osh Mayor Janar Akaev supported the deputy's initiatives, emphasizing his commitment to reforms in education. "Meder Arstanbekovich, you know that I, as one of the main authors of the current law on education, fully support the development of the education sector. We will definitely consider and work on all the proposals you have voiced," he said.
