On March 5, at the XVIII session of the Karakol City Council, Mayor Kanibek Adiev presented a report on the socio-economic condition of the municipality for the past year. As a result of the discussion, it was decided to send the report for revision.

28 out of 41 local council deputies participated in the meeting.

After the presentation of the report, the deputies asked the mayor numerous questions regarding various aspects of city life. They expressed concern about the quality of road construction, delays in the opening of public toilets, and the need for new bridges.

Additionally, issues were discussed regarding the shortage of doctors, the need for measures to reduce infant mortality, the lack of educational spaces in schools, as well as questions about salary increases for workers in high-altitude conditions.

The deputies also mentioned the losses of incoming correspondence in the mayor's office, the handling of citizens' appeals, the transparency of land leases, the organization of parks and football fields, the condition of slaughterhouses, problems with pastures, the relocation of the labor exchange, as well as children's leisure and services in the central square.

Deputy Chairman of the Karakol City Council Bakyt Kurmanov noted that the presented report raised many questions among the deputies, and the materials prepared for the session require significant additions and clarifications.

As a result of the voting, the deputies unanimously decided not to accept the report in its current form and to postpone its consideration until the next session, leaving the issue open until all necessary amendments are made.
