At the end of 2025, specifically in November and December, a project was launched for video recording court sessions for various categories of cases. The Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic began open video broadcasts of real court proceedings for the first time in a pilot mode.

The Deputy Head of the Supreme Court's Office, Aman Jumaliev, informed the Kabar agency that the pilot project was successfully completed. Now remote broadcasts of court sessions are being conducted in the Supreme Court, the Bishkek City Court, as well as in the district courts of the capital.

“In the near future, we plan to equip the halls of regional courts with the necessary equipment, which will allow for broadcasts in the district courts of other regions,” he added.

According to Jumaliev, remote coverage of court sessions allows for monitoring judicial practice from a distance, which promotes discipline among participants in the process. It also helps reduce bureaucracy and facilitate access to justice.

He noted that according to the current procedural legislation, court sessions can be held either at the request of the participants or on the initiative of the court. The court has the right to permit the broadcasting of sessions via television, radio, and the internet.

“These measures are aimed at improving the transparency of judicial proceedings, strengthening public trust in the judicial system, ensuring the openness of court operations, and enhancing legal culture among citizens,” the Deputy Head concluded.
