At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov raised an important issue regarding the presence of duplicate street names in the capital. He noted that after the annexation of new territories to Bishkek, confusion has arisen, complicating the work of emergency services and other agencies, creating problems with timely access to certain streets.
The Deputy Mayor for land use, architecture, construction, and digitalization, Azamat Kadyrov, reported that active measures are currently being taken to eliminate duplicate names. This work is being carried out in cooperation with the Bishkek City Council to improve navigation in the city and make it more convenient and safe for residents.
