Cabinet: The road from Jeti-Oguz to Koysary will be reconstructed

During his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, got acquainted with the plans for the reconstruction of the Jeti-Oguz - Koysary highway, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The length of this section of the road is 16.9 kilometers. The main goal of this project is to create a more convenient transportation connection in the region, which will facilitate movement between the settlements of the Jeti-Oguz district.

According to the agency, this road has strategic importance and is a priority as it connects tourist attractions and resort areas. Due to significant wear and tear on the infrastructure, a complete reconstruction is planned.

The project includes the construction of the road in accordance with modern standards. As part of the work, the creation of a bicycle lane, sidewalks, an outdoor lighting system, as well as special stopping areas for drivers and rest areas is planned.

In addition, during the trip, issues regarding the completion of construction and repair of other roads in the region were also discussed. Relevant services were instructed to ensure the quality execution of work within the established deadlines.
