In Kyrgyzstan, a registry has been created that includes 27,652 organizations processing arrays of personal data. This information was announced by Kutman Mamyrов, the director of the State Agency for Personal Data Protection, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.
Of the total number of registered organizations, 2,906 belong to the public sector, while 24,748 are private.
Additionally, Mamyrов noted that about 50 regulatory legal acts have been developed to improve management in this area. The implementation of new digital technologies aimed at enhancing the protection of citizens' personal data is expected in the near future.
