As part of the "Mercy" campaign, Victoria Mozgacheva, Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, conducted an introductory tour of social institutions for Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Gulnara Akimbayeva and Deputy of the Bishkek City Kenesh Aibek Dunkanaev.
During the visit to the stationary institution for the elderly and persons with disabilities "Үмүт үйү," the deputies studied the living conditions and organization of care for the wards.
At the Children's Reintegration Center "Айданек," the focus was on the living conditions of the children, their rehabilitation, and adaptation to society, which should contribute to their further development.
In addition, the participants familiarized themselves with the current state of the material and technical base of the institutions and the organization of social service provision.
As a result of the visit, the necessity of a systematic approach to supporting both elderly citizens and persons with disabilities, as well as children in difficult life situations, was emphasized.
