Former head of the GKNB Kamchybek Tashiev is being interrogated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Kamchybek Tashiev, who previously headed the GKNB of Kyrgyzstan, is currently giving testimony at the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country. According to representatives of the Ministry's press service, he is acting as a witness in a number of criminal cases.

According to the agency, Tashiev returned to Kyrgyzstan this morning.

It should be noted that he had been outside the country since February 17, 2026.
