On the surface of the sümülek, prepared by the residents of Pushkin Street in the Panfilov District of the Chuy Region, unusual images appeared.

This information was reported by the local residents themselves.

Pushkin Street is located in the village of Voznesenovka, which is part of the rural district of Orto-Kayindy. In anticipation of the Nowruz holiday, the local residents decorated their street, which is over one kilometer long, with balloons, spending 10,500 soms on it.

“For the Nowruz holiday, we prepared 13 kilograms of sprouted wheat. Then we passed it through a meat grinder and rinsed it thoroughly three times. After that, we added 25 kg of flour, 5 kg of vegetable oil, and 3 kg of sweets. We placed about 30 small stones in the cauldron and boiled it for 12 hours,” shared one of the residents, Gulnara Saitova.

Ibadaat Zholoeva, another participant in the preparation of sümülek, noted that on March 22, they opened the sümülek that had been cooking all night.

She spoke about the magical images that appeared on its surface:

“When we opened the cooked sümülek, a map of Kyrgyzstan emerged on its surface, with our sacred Issyk-Kul in the center, and inscriptions of ‘Allah’ and national patterns around the edges. We perceived this as a good sign, which delighted us with the unity of our people and evoked pride for the sanctity of our lake and cultural values.”
