In the village of Voznesenovka, located in the Panfilov district of the Chui region, Pushkin Street has been decorated with bright balloons over a length of 1.2 kilometers.

This information was provided by 61-year-old Gülmara Saitova, who is a single mother.

Pushkin Street is situated in the Orto-Kayyndin rural district.

“I have lived on this street for 22 years and I am the mother of four children, as well as the grandmother of 11 grandchildren. Our street, which is over 1 kilometer long, has 125 households. For several years now, we have taken the initiative to decorate our homes and the street for the Nowruz holiday. The street is also illuminated at night for safety. This year, we spent 10,500 soms on the decorations,” she shared.

Gülmara noted that such decorations not only create a festive atmosphere but also motivate residents to take care of cleanliness. This initiative is supported by local authorities. Additionally, preparations for the sümölök are currently underway, and the celebration is accompanied by various games and entertainment,” she added.

The Nowruz celebration takes place in all the rural districts of the region. The decoration organized by the Kurama rural council stands out, especially in the square of the Osmonov State Memorial Complex, where yurts are set up among beautifully decorated fir trees, and festive events are held.
