The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Head of the President's Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, noted the achievements of the winners, emphasizing that this competition serves as an important incentive for rural administrations in implementing new ideas aimed at improving life in villages.

“The potential of rural administrations has not yet been fully realized. To date, only a small number of villages that participated in the national project 'One Village - One Product' in 2023 export their products. I want to especially highlight the role of rural administrations that create the necessary conditions for teachers and students and are capable of competing with urban educational institutions. We also hope for initiatives in the field of creative economy development. These efforts will significantly impact the development of both cities and villages, helping to reduce the gap between them and ensuring more harmonious urbanization.

By joining forces, we can develop entrepreneurship in villages and build modern schools, medical facilities, and cultural centers. In the coming years, plans include paving roads and constructing affordable housing, which will significantly improve the quality of life for local residents,” he added.

The competition, held at the national level with a total prize fund of 12 million soms, covered two categories of rural administrations: those located in high mountainous and border areas, and the other rural administrations.

Among the rural administrations in high mountainous and border areas, the prize places were distributed as follows:

I place — rural administration of the Suu-Bashy village area, Batken district, Batken region — 3 million soms;

II place — rural administration of the Kashka-Suu village area, Chon-Alai district, Osh region — 2 million soms;

III place — rural administration of the Kanysh-Kiya village area, Chatkal district, Jalal-Abad region — 1 million soms.

Among the other rural administrations, the winners were:

I place — rural administration of the Issyk-Kul village area, Tyup district, Issyk-Kul region — 3 million soms;

II place — rural administration of the Dostuk village area, Alamudun district, Chui region — 2 million soms;

III place — rural administration of the Saydykum village area, Bazar-Korgon district, Jalal-Abad region — 1 million soms.

The evaluation of the competition entries was conducted based on several key socio-economic criteria, including providing the population with clean drinking water, maintaining public order, landscaping, combating poverty, organizing cultural and sports events, developing entrepreneurship, managing municipal property, attracting investments, rational budget use, and several other aspects.
