In the city of Osh, Mayor Janarbek Akaev proposed an initiative to build a bike path and pedestrian walkway around Sulayman-Too. This proposal was made during a meeting with the Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev, as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
During the discussion, a presentation was made on the reconstruction of the national historical and archaeological museum complex "Sulayman-Too." The mayor emphasized the need to take decisive measures to promote this project, highlighting the improvement of the surrounding area.
The project includes a complete reconstruction of roads, stairs, and gates, as well as the renovation of both internal and external spaces of the museums located within the complex. The initiative consists of 12 stages and will be funded by the World Bank.
Additionally, during the meeting, issues regarding the restoration of the Ak-Medrese, built by Alymbek Datka, as well as plans for tidying up the cemetery were also discussed.
